About I&K Beauty Academy
I&K Beauty Academy is a very unique training centre that’s been a family run business by passionate beauticians and educators for several years. Our academy offers a variety of Beauty treatments to any individual who aspires to not only pursue a new career path, but also upgrade their professional skills. We provide short training courses such as, eyelash extension application, lash lift & tint, eyebrow tint & definition, brow lamination and nails enhancement in small groups or 1:1 individual arrangements.

Individual Eyelash Extensions
This course covers the 1:1 technique for individual eyelash extensions application and is suitable for everyone as no experience needed
All students will work on a mannequin, prior to working on their model

During Practical Session Students will be able to learn:
- Correct eyelash extensions application
- Correct lash placement, attachment and direction
- Safe eyelash extensions removal
- Lash extensions maintenance and aftercare
- Eyelas application procedure
- Healthy selection of lash extensions
- Eyelash thickness, curls and lengths
- Isolation technique
- Adhesives and bonding techniques
- Eye shapes and their styling
Theory Hours:
Approximately 7 hours of study time will be required to complete the theory element of individual eyelash extension course
Practical Hours:
Approximately 7 hours of practical eyelash extensions training will be required to completeyour assessment day

- Correct Volume fan bases
- Adhesive control and glue dipping
- Attachment of the fan- the wrap technique
- Correct fan angles
- Volume lash/eye styling
- Volume aftercare and cleaning

- Application to mannequin head using the wrap technique
- Checking for stickies
- Checking for uniformity
- Finishing your set

Lash Lift & Tint Treatments course. This course covers the technique for eyelash lifting and tinting.It also includes fantastic anatomy & physiology resources with clear diagrams. Reception,consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment.

Lash Lift & Tint Treatment Course
Lash Lift & Tint Treatments course. This course covers the technique for eyelash lifting and tinting.It also includes fantastic anatomy & physiology resources with clear diagrams. Reception,consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment.
Lash Lift & Tint treatments course modules:
Practical: Preperation for lash lift & tint treatment (lash cleansing).
- Assessment of natural lash
- Correct application & timing of lotions (perming & fixing)
- Correct application & timing of tint
- Why lash tint must be removed from skin
- Preparation of work area
- Lash styling
- Correct choice of shields (rods) according to the eye shape & lash length
- Correct placement of the rods on eyelids
Pre-requisites:
You must have completed the GTi Professional Standards course.

Approximately 12 hours of study time will be required to complete the theory element of this course.
Practical Hours:
Approximately 4 hours of practical training will be required to complete your assessment day.

- Training day starts at 9.30 and finishes at 18.00.
- All essential materials and equipment will be provided on the day of training.
- Make sure to have a model on your training day and ensure they arrive at 13.30.
- In order to become qualified you will need to provide 3 case studies within 2 months of training.
- Only on successful completion certificates will be issued.
- For extra dates or more flexibility please contact us.
Nails Training Day
- Training day starts at 9.30 and finishes at 18.00.
- All essential materials and equipment will be provided on the day of training.
- Make sure to have a model on your training day and ensure they arrive at 13.00.
- In order to become qualified you will need to provide 2 case studies within 2 months of training.
- Only on successful completion certificates will be issued.
